I've been a bad, bad boy

So it's been five months since I last posted and I feel like a heel for not posting sooner. So let me give you a rundown of what has happened over the last five months.
1. We moved
2. Isaac started school
3. Katelynn and I both got fired

Well those were the big things so let start on those.
1. Moving- This was a very hectic time for us. We weren't even planning on moving but a great opportunity came up that we just couldn't pass up. A friend of the family was renting the house and let us know that she was buying a house and we talked to the landlord and was able to get a really great deal. We moved the same weekend as my parents to save on the cost of a truck and for the extra help. The truck wasn't any cheaper because my parents told us one price for half of the truck and then told us a different price after we had already moved. Oh well there is nothing that we can do about it now. Cliff and Michelle helped everyone move so we were a lot less stressed about the whole move with the extra help.So now we have been in the new house for three months now and other than the landlords husband dragging his feet about everything, things have been great.

2. Well Isaac started school for the first time ever!! He is in first grade and I'll tell you that Alexis would say it is great having him out of the house during the day and actually learning things. Well, we think that he is learning something. Between disrupting the class, screaming, and stealing kids food we are not to sure. We really don't know what we are going to do because I don't want him on meds. Every other thing that he have tried isn't working so now we are trying "positive reenforcement". Lets see if it works.

3. Katelynn and I got fired. Yes, we worked for my parents and yes, they fired us. They fired the people making them their money and their own children to boot. I can't let it get me down because I feel that everything will turn out right. No money for rent, no money for electric, no money for food, yet I still feel like everything will turn out alright. I know, I know I am not the most optimistic person and everyone thinks of me as the pessimist but I am still hopeful. The good news in all of this is that when I filed for unemployment the VEC told me that my parents had not been paying into unemployment and so they were going to have to pay all those back payments, plus fine and fees. There is also the possibility that the state will yank their business license. So I guess what goes around comes around. Karma's a bitch. She is a real bitch. My parents will find this out soon enough.

Well I guess that is all for now. Hopefully it will not be another five months till I post again. See you all later.
