Alexis' Birthday

0comments
To my wife on her birthday:

I love you. I love you more than I sometimes think that I can handle. You are the light of my life and without you my world would be dark. On this day your mother brought you into this world and it is to be a day to be celebrated. Who could have known that thirty years from that day you would be here. You are a most wonderful   person who is just coming into her own.

We have so many years ahead of to to discover all the amazing things that you can accomplish and all of the the things that we can accomplish together. I never thought that at 24 I would be married already but when you find that perfect someone I guess you shouldn't let her slip away. You are a wonderful mother ( even if you didn't birth him ) and you don't give yourself enough credit. Did I tell you yet that I love you? I love you. You are a person who, despite what you say, wouldn't let a friend go without and you give most freely despite your only child selfishness. There are just so many things that I love about you and unfortunately at 3 in the morning I am a little short on words and I'm sorry. I could fill ten pages just listing all the things about you that are great but you would probably stop reading by page two. So.... I love you baby and I hope you have a wonderful birthday. You are everything to me.   I love you and Happy Birthday,

I've been a bad, bad boy

0comments
So it's been five months since I last posted and I feel like a heel for not posting sooner. So let me give you a rundown of what has happened over the last five months.
1. We moved
2. Isaac started school
3. Katelynn and I both got fired

Well those were the big things so let start on those.
1. Moving- This was a very hectic time for us. We weren't even planning on moving but a great opportunity came up that we just couldn't pass up. A friend of the family was renting the house and let us know that she was buying a house and we talked to the landlord and was able to get a really great deal. We moved the same weekend as my parents to save on the cost of a truck and for the extra help. The truck wasn't any cheaper because my parents told us one price for half of the truck and then told us a different price after we had already moved. Oh well there is nothing that we can do about it now. Cliff and Michelle helped everyone move so we were a lot less stressed about the whole move with the extra help.So now we have been in the new house for three months now and other than the landlords husband dragging his feet about everything, things have been great.

2. Well Isaac started school for the first time ever!! He is in first grade and I'll tell you that Alexis would say it is great having him out of the house during the day and actually learning things. Well, we think that he is learning something. Between disrupting the class, screaming, and stealing kids food we are not to sure. We really don't know what we are going to do because I don't want him on meds. Every other thing that he have tried isn't working so now we are trying "positive reenforcement". Lets see if it works.

3. Katelynn and I got fired. Yes, we worked for my parents and yes, they fired us. They fired the people making them their money and their own children to boot. I can't let it get me down because I feel that everything will turn out right. No money for rent, no money for electric, no money for food, yet I still feel like everything will turn out alright. I know, I know I am not the most optimistic person and everyone thinks of me as the pessimist but I am still hopeful. The good news in all of this is that when I filed for unemployment the VEC told me that my parents had not been paying into unemployment and so they were going to have to pay all those back payments, plus fine and fees. There is also the possibility that the state will yank their business license. So I guess what goes around comes around. Karma's a bitch. She is a real bitch. My parents will find this out soon enough.

Well I guess that is all for now. Hopefully it will not be another five months till I post again. See you all later.

Nothing Much

0comments
Well nothing really going on the last couple of days. Spent a good amount of time with Lisa and the Bean on Monday night. She got all sleepy and fell asleep till after one in the morning and then went home because of no cigarettes.

Today all I did was go to work, which wasn't very long. It wasn't all that bad but I was really tired after getting home. Found out this afternoon that Carissa found an apartment. That's really great for her. She wants to take Isaac on Saturday which I understand but I would think that having a six year old under foot while trying to move would be a tad difficult. But then again what do I know? I took a shower and then fell asleep on the couch until 7:30. I have just been really tired lately. Working two hours one day and then six the next and four the next and so on makes it difficult to get used to any work schedule and makes me really tired.

Watched the new episode of House on Hulu. Hulu really is the best damn site ever. Then me and the wife watched the new episode of Glee. I then watched some of my shows on Hulu and the wife watched Criminal Minds. Well thats about all except for posting on here. TTYL.
Here's some pics of the Kid. Just cause I love him so

The last couple of days

0comments
Well it's been a couple of days since my first post. Let me catch you up.
Friday:
I went to work. It was a crappy day. Got to work about 9 and only worked till 1:30. I wish it had been a longer day cause I will only have about 24 hours this week. Work has been really slow lately, I have only been averaging about 25 hours a week which really sucks. So anyway, we left Merrimac, which is one of our apartment complexes, and sat in about an hour of traffic.
Me and Katelynn got to my parents house and unloaded the truck and then she sat around shooting the breeze with my parents. We were just about to leave when I realized that I had the key to a live-in unit... I called up the maintenance director Rob and asked him if I could wait until Monday to bring it back but lo and behold it was the only key in the complex that didn't have a duplicate. So after figuring out what we were doing for the night Kate, Alexis, Isaac, Emily and I all piled in the car to take the ride down to Merrimac to return the key. Luckily, Rob wasn't mad and actually found it funny, glad that he did cause none of us did and now i owe Kate $5 for gas as a result. So we left there and went to Kate's house and ate a dinner of beef brisket and tater tots. Needless to say Lex and I were still mad hungry after eating over there. When we left there we went over to the Geer house to jump on the trampoline. We had fun as we usually do. I found that I couldn't jump for that long because I had hurt my ankle at work earlier in the day. After leaving there we came home and relaxed. Sent the kid to bed and I watched a movie while Lex played on the internet. I watched Pandorum. It really wasn't too bad. Certainly not as bad as the critics say that it was but then again I am a die hard sci-fi fan.
I went to bed really late.
Saturday:
I got up late as per usual for a Saturday. Of course Lex was upset because she also slept late. It was my fault as usual. Lol. Pretty much had a quiet day today. Lex relaxed in the bath while I played Modern Warfare. Then I made lunch which consisted of chicken sandwiches and mashed potatoes that I made myself. I coated the chicken in bread crumbs and herbs and then pan fried them. As Lisa would say they were bangin! Then  we had more relaxing along with trying to figure out how to rearrange the living room to maximize living space. Unfortunately there is something on every wall that can't be covered up so we are very limited in what we can do. Oh well, hopefully we will be able to get our loveseats soon and be able to actually do what we want. Lisa called up to say that she was coming over with Ian.
Yea! I like my little nephew/godson. He really is just the cutest thing. She is here right now about to go over to 7-11 with Lex. Well that is pretty much all for now. I will hopefully post later. I really hope I can keep up with this blog. Well see you all later. Bye!

Grownup Life

0comments
So my name is Kyle. I am 23 years old, a husband, and a father of a 6 year old. I have a pretty boring life all told. I go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch tv, and go to sleep. I was not willingly thrust into my adult life but nevertheless I enjoy it immensely. My life has been a roller coaster of emotions and at times I thought that things were going to overwhelm me. I found out at 16 that I was going to be a father. I got married at 22 to the woman that I have been dating since 18.
I am living the life of a 30 year old at 23. For some reason I can't imagine my life as anything else than it is right now. Don't get me wrong, there were times that I thought what it would be like to not have a family, or responsibilities. But when I really get down to it my life is exactly what I want of it. I really do love my life. In My Grownup Life I am going to endeavor to post about the ups and downs of married life and the responsibilities of having a family and all the menial things in between while dealing with still being in my early twenties. I know that I don't have the hardest life but things haven't been easy either. I'm sure that this will not interest most people out there and who knows if I will post on a regular basis but we will see. Well talk to y'all later.
